Job Description:

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a Senior Analyst – Studios Billing to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team. This role is all about ensuring smooth and accurate billing processes, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the overall order-to-cash cycle.

As a Sr. AR Analyst, you’ll be managing high-volume billing, collaborating with sales and finance teams, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with corporate billing and credit policies. You’ll also communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies, secure timely payments, and contribute to process improvements.

This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and passionate about both numbers and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record all billing and revenue transactions in the books of accounts.
  • Review customer contracts, prepare master data, and manage monthly billing/revenue reconciliations.
  • Work closely with sales teams across regions to align on customer billing.
  • Perform reconciliations for WHT, VAT, and customer balances as per local laws.
  • Manage month-end close activities, AR accounting, balance reconciliations, and SOX compliance.
  • Handle customer portfolios, resolve variances, and support collections to meet targets.
  • Communicate and resolve invoicing discrepancies with internal teams and customers.
  • Provide updates to leadership on collection efforts and receivable issues.
  • Collaborate with cash and collections teams to resolve short-pays, credits, and open invoices.
  • Build effective relationships with internal/external clients and global teams (including BPOs).
  • Create and analyze billed/unbilled reports and address payment discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for AR process improvements and support audits with accurate documentation.

Key Technical Skills:

Accounts Receivable, Billing & Collections, AR Reconciliations, Order-to-Cash Process, SAP ERP, Financial Reporting, Compliance (SOX, VAT, WHT), Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, or collections.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and hands-on AR/accounting systems experience.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the order-to-cash process.
  • Experience in the media industry or media sales (preferred, not required).
